Boeing is Helping Wounded Warriors

The Boeing Company was recently recognized for their support of Operation Homefront Village in San Antonio, Texas. Operation Homefront Village provides a number of services including housing for wounded warriors.
Said Kevin Devine of Boeing: “The Boeing Company knows the importance of supporting the warfighter, whether in battle or after they have returned home. Operation Homefront Village in San Antonio not only takes care of our wounded warriors but also gives their families care and support as the injured service member prepares to transition to civilian life.”

Valero Energy Closes Part of Refinery

Valero Energy announced on Tuesday that they will be closing a part of a Delaware refinery that is unprofitable. As a result of the closure, Valero Energy says that they will need to layoff approximately 250 employees and contract workers.
Technically the Premcor Refining Group, a subsidiary of Valero Energy, is behind the Delaware closure. Located in Delaward City, the refinery was a coking and gasifier complex.
Bill Klesse, the President and CEO of Valero Energy, says that the move will help the company concentrate on profitable products.
