Letterman Apologizes to Sarah Palin

David Letterman is now feuding with Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin and her family, after he told some off-color jokes about them on Monday.  In his monologue, he made reference to the fact that one of Palin’s daughters was traveling with her in New York City (where Letterman’s show is filmed) and quipped that the girl had to fend off Eliot Spitzer and was then “knocked up” by NY Yankees star, Alex Rodriguez.

Contrary to Sarah Palin’s confidence; Obama supporters are saying the elections is over: In an excerpt:
Mr Obama is projected to have taken: Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Delaware, Massachusetts, District of Columbia, Maryland, Connecticut, Maine, New Jersey.
Mr McCain is projected to have taken: Kentucky, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee.
Some US networks have also called West Virginia for John McCain.
The Democrats made an early gain in the Senate race, with Mark Warner, in Virginia, taking a formerly Republican seat.
Exit polls suggest the economy was the major deciding factor for six out of 10 voters.
