Ecofont has holes in order to save printer ink

This isn’t a new mode of printing documents. More than the “grayscale” feature, there is a new out of the box method for saving ink and it has nothing to do with the print quality on your paper. Ecofont, a new font developed sans serif (makes sense since serif fonts take up more ink*) claims to be able to save 20% more printer ink because it has small holes built into the typeface.
