I Miss Gaming

I was really first bitten by the “gaming bug” when I was in high school.
My first love [insert flying doves and shit here] was a huge gaming nerd who was in love with me but whose first love was Lunar: Silver Star Story on the Sega-CD.
Up to that point in my rather dismal gaming life, I had only played the occasional game of Mario Brothers or Duck Hunt and played WAY too much Lion King on the Sega Genesis [DON'T JUDGE ME!].
Since I wanted to keep boyfriend interested in me and I liked spending hours at a stretch in front …read more

There are gamers who like old retro games just like alcoholic experts who like old wine. If you are looking for an all-in-one retro games emulator, the Pocket Retro Game Emulator may satisfy your cravings for NES, SNES, GBA, Sega Genesis, or Neo Geo games as it can load any of these roms with ease.
This cute machine has a 4GB built-in storage and a mini SD expansion slot. You can also play movie, audio, picture files and listen to FM radio while on the move. But we think the D-pad and the X, Y, A, B configurable buttons may be …read more
Pier Solar, New Game For Sega Megadrive, Yes, The 16-Bit Machine

If you are still playing the Sega Mega Drive, Sega Genesis or Sega CD everyday, it’s time to update yourself with a new Megadrive/Sega CD game titled Pier Solar. Pier Solar is a all-new RPG game (think FF and Shining Force) developed by WM Development, a hardcore Sega homebrew community. From the trailer and the site, I’m really pumped up to play this game but first, I need to buy a Sega. Duh.

I Apparently am Incapable of Completing a Game

I’m such a looser.
I started thinking about games that I need to play and then I realized that I suck at completing games. I think the most recent game that I’ve actually finished was Okami.
How long ago was that? A while ago.
I’ve beaten Oblivion and Shivering Isles [if you can ever beat those games] but I didn’t have the balls to beat Drake’s Fortune.
Well, in my defense of that one, Drake’s is like a movie that you get to interact with occasionally. The husband was playing Drake’s on his own save and I was watching him play …read more
My Ode to Halloween

It’s that time of year, dear readers.
A time of goblins and ghouls and witches on brooms.
Ok.
Who am I kidding?
It’s time to go trick-or-treating [aren't you a bit old for that?] and dress up like a super slutty bar maid.
In honor of my favorite holiday, I figured that I would give you some links to some great games.
Some are blatant Halloween games; some are just plain scary.
Halloween games
Undead Smackdown – Ben and Jerry’s version of wack-a-mole…except you’re whacking zombies with a shovel.
Tomb Chess – Clear your “graveyard” of your opponent’s “ghouls”.
Transylmania – Turn all of the invading villagers into the …read more

Princess Peach is not your kawaii (cute) princess anymore, she is back for revenge and is determined to take over the world!
Do not fear as Michael Jackson teams up with various old school heroes to STOP her!
This video does not make any sense to me but I put this up as I’m an ardent, hardcore fan of Michael Princess Peach (she’s still cute when she’s bad).
Princess Peach Forever!!
