You can tell that it’s summertime…. How? Because ESPN is running some ridiculous segment during SportsCenter and hyping it to be the most important thing you’ll ever see. This year – ESPN is trying to figure out which city in the United States is ‘Titletown’.
I’m more interested in more baseball highlights than shoving this stuff in my face. Do I really think that Palo Alto, California has a chance to beat Los Angeles (which Tommy Lasorda claimed was the sports capital of the WORLD) for this ridiculous award? What about Lawrence, Kansas?
