The idea of off-season may be completely off to some. A previous post on it got, like, no response (We are thick-skinned. Heh), but however ill-fated it may be, we are determined to shop it around. For us, it’s the Great Romantic Novel (think Gone With the Wind). Someday someone will bite.
OK, the point now:

After kick-ass performances in the World Cup and succeeding ODI tournaments, Tait is the last man you’d think who could retire. Yes, not an actual retirement, a sabbatical, but this is disheartening nonetheless, especially since he was so good against the New Zealanders.
As per Cricket Australia, Shaun Tait was suffering from “physical and emotional exhaustion and will be rested from cricket while he undergoes a programme designed to facilitate his return to cricket.”

I never understood why I didn’t like talking about chucking. Now I’m seeing some daylight. I figure it’s because of how close a resemblance the word chucking bears to the f-word. Anyway, let’s get to the point.
Daniel Vettori called Shaun Tait a chucker, and this gave everyone something to talk about. I find it funny how everyone devoted so much space to it. Why it’s everybody’s waste of time:
