If you had your choice between playing basketball with LeBron James or Dwayne Wade, who would you choose?
According to SI.com, Amar’e Stoudemire secretly prefers Wade.
As the subject of the biggest trade rumor in the NBA, Stoudemire apparently has two options: Miami or Cleveland. Those are the two teams who are currently pushing possible trades with the Phoenix Suns.
Just a week or so ago, it was reported that Stoudemire was more than happy to stay with the Suns. But it looks at though the feeling isn’t mutual. A trade is definitely coming. Right now, it’s just a matter of …read more
Could Arenas End Up In Orlando?

There is a lot of speculation about where Gilbert Arenas might end up after his legal mumbo jumbo is over with. The Washington Wizards are currently looking to void the rest of Arenas’ contract so they can part amicably and move on.
Arenas has two options. He can walk away from the game and pursue other ventures … or, he can sign with another team. We’ve all seen this before. Even Michael Vick got a second chance. Professional sports teams are always willing to take a chance on a talented player with legal troubles and personal issues, especially the desperate ones.

Ray Allen Wants All-Star Voting Changed

Ray Allen doesn’t have to worry about being singled out for his comments on the NBA All-Star voting structure. Most people, including me, agree with him.
The comments came after it was announced that both Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady made the 2010 All-Star team. Allen basically asked the question we all were thinking — why?
Both Iverson and McGrady have had horrible years. Iverson left the Memphis Grizzlies earlier in the season because he wasn’t happy with his playing time. He rejoined the 76ers later on, but he isn’t the player he used to be. And McGrady wasn’t even playing for …read more
Beasley Working Hard On And Off The Court

Michael Beasley has seen his share of problems. At only 21, he’s already made headlines for the wrong reasons — so much so, that people began to wonder if he would turn out to be a draft bust.
Beasley was drafted 2nd overall in the 2008 NBA draft by the Miami Heat. Soon after, his off-court issues began. And they began to overshadow his talent.
In August, Beasley checked into a rehab clinic. Since then, he’s been on the right path. And even though he’s now legal to drink in bars and clubs, Beasley has made a commitment to stay on the …read more
Are The Lakers Making A Move For Bosh?

The Los Angeles Lakers are already the best team in the West, and quite possibly the best team in the NBA. A rumored trade is in the works to put together a deal for Toronto’s Chris Bosh.
This trade would put all questions to rest. With Bosh, the Lakers would undoubtedly be the best team in the NBA — hands down.
Dwyane Wade was hoping that the Heat would put together a trade in order to get Bosh to Miami. But according to SI.com, inside sources report that the Lakers are hoping to make a trade for Bosh before the February 3rd …read more
Pat Riley Should Watch What He Says

If Miami head coach Pat Riley wants Dwyane Wade to sign a contract extension with the Heat, then he should watch what he says to the media.
According to SI.com, Riley told the Miami Herald on Wednesday that the team plans to address the concerns they have around Wade’s conditioning, or lack thereof. Riley believes that Wade’s lack of on-court production this season is a direct result.
Wade was in the best shape of his life last season, after working hard to comeback from shoulder and knee injuries. His athleticism is uncanny. And though he may have dropped off a bit as …read more
NBA Players Should Stay Away From Twitter
December 9, 2009 by Lyndsey D'Arcangelo

In my professional opinion, NBA players should stay away from Twitter. It doesn’t serve them well. In fact, it doesn’t serve any professional athlete well.
While some athletes may use Twitter to connect with fans and offer up a bit of humor now and again, others use it to complain about their team, their limited playing time, and their gripes with head coaches. Larry Johnson pretty much lost his job with the Kansas City Chiefs because of what he wrote on his Twitter account page.
Here’s a little advice for those “Twittering” athletes: Don’t use Twitter to complain, it’s going to get …read more
Yao To Stay With Houston

While this summer is shaping up to be the biggest free agency market in NBA history, there’s one veteran player who plans to stay put.
Yao Ming isn’t going to test the water of the free agency pool, he’s going to stay with the Houston Rockets instead. According to SI.com, Houston general manager Daryl Morey said that there is no doubt in his mind that the 7-foot-6 center isn’t going to opt out of his contract in order to become a free agent.
“He’s very loyal, and he’s going to opt in,” Morey said in an interview Monday night with FanHouse. “He’s …read more
Ewing Wants To Coach The New Jersey Nets

Yesterday, I blogged about the firing of Larry Frank. The former head coach of the New Jersey Nets led the team to an 0-16 start before being let go on Sunday. And if things couldn’t get any worse, the Nets played the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night and lost yet another game, giving them an 0-17 record for the season.
I posed a simple question in my post. I asked, who would want to coach the Nets now? Well, according to SI.com, Patrick Ewing is interested. The former NBA All-Star has been an assistant coach for the past seven seasons. …read more
Iverson May Join The Knicks

After his sudden departure from the Memphis Grizzlies, Allen Iverson may sign with another NBA team quicker than most people thought.
According to SI.com, the president of the New York Knicks is planning to make a move in order to get Iverson to New York. Donnie Walsh confirmed yesterday that he is interested in signing the former league MVP. Apparently Iverson is interested in playing for Mike D’Antoni and living in the Big Apple.
What I don’t understand is that the Knicks passed on Iverson over the summer. So why are they interested in him now? Probably because their season is already …read more
