Finally Norway’s first gold
Lars Bystøl won Norway’s first gold medal in Normal Hill (Ski Jump). The gold was Norway’s first Olympic gold in Ski Jump since Espen Bredesen won it at the Winter Olympics hosted in Lillehammer/Norway 1994.
Gold: Lars Bystøl, Norge 266,5 (101,5-103,5),
Silver: Matti Hautamäki, Finland 265,5 (102-103,5),
Bronze: Roar Ljøkelsøy, Norge 264,5 (102,5-102,5)
