Switch Hitting is fine, but I have a problem

Was busy with my exams those days, so my switch hitting post is here. Its all right about it being not-illegal and not-legal and all that thing, but the question I have is :
Suppose a right handed batsman is switch hitting (a bowler faster than Scott Retirees), he becomes a left handed batsman, and I do no have a problem with that! What I have a problem is, the batting gloves. Anyone who has played cricket knows that the bottom hand (right) thumb has padding while the top hand thumb doesn’t.
