Another PSP look-alike from China. Called the 2PG (2 Player Game), it sports a 2.4-inch LCD, 5 built-in games and TV-out function. However, the main draw of this portable is its price of 200 yuan ($29). A 78-game-in-1 cartridge is only around 30 yuan.
Small price, BIG draw.

Many individuals and countries have pledged their contributions towards Sichuan’s earthquake aid. Asian gaming companies such as Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong have came up with the Panda Saru PSP bundle to raise funds. As you might guess, Panda Saru is the mascot of the quake’s fund raising activities.
The Panda Saru Limited Edition PSP bundle consists of a mint green PSP slim, a Panda Saru plushie, a Panda Saru file, a Panda Saru PSP screen cleaner and a PSP protective screen cover. All for HK$1888 ($242). Why there are three 8’s in the price tag? Because the number eight symbolizes …read more

Sony is tired of the man keeping it down and they’re doing something about it.
After getting trounced repeatedly by the DS, it seems that Sony has a secret weapon to boost sales: Skype. As Gamasutra points out, the rumor that the PSP would serve as a “portable communication” device isn’t new, but now we finally have some news for the US market.
Sony’s CES preview page is promising that PSP users will be able to “call friends, talk trash to fellow gamers, or catch up with acquaintances via Skype for PSP system.”
So, you’re handheld gaming system will now let you …read more

The October numbers for console sales are out folks.
The Wii is kicking much console ass and is now the top console in the world! That’s right…the world.
360 is holding strong and Sony as a whole is doing good with PS2 and PSP sales…PS3 not so much.
I keep keeping my fingers crossed for the PS3. I think that it’s a superior system to the 360 but the game selection for the PS3 sucks.
Based solely on numbers, I’m starting to worry that my blind devotion to my PS3 is akin to the blind devotion that some parents have for their …read more

Guess what’s coming out tomorrow for PS3. [and XBox 360]
Assassin’s Creed! Yippee!
Quoting from Game Spot here, “The first game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise…”
Franchise? Did I miss something?
I guess so.
Here I’ve been waiting for just the game [for over a year] and now they’re talking franchise.
Well, slap my ass and call me Sally!
UBI Soft is releasing their movie tie-in Beowulf for the 360, PC and PS3 and PSP.
The story bored me and I hate games [and books] that are made from movies.
Maybe it won’t suck, but I’m not holding my breath.

This is going to be a very good week for gaming and a very bad week for your bank account.
Gears of War is set to hit this week for PC and I am extremely disappointed that my computer is a huge wuss. Such an awesome looking game and my computer is peeing its pants at the mere mention of me trying to install that game.
Other PC games that are coming out this week are:
Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate, and Power Rangers Super Legends, [I just threw up a little]
The DS has Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. Silent …read more
My Ode to Halloween

It’s that time of year, dear readers.
A time of goblins and ghouls and witches on brooms.
Ok.
Who am I kidding?
It’s time to go trick-or-treating [aren't you a bit old for that?] and dress up like a super slutty bar maid.
In honor of my favorite holiday, I figured that I would give you some links to some great games.
Some are blatant Halloween games; some are just plain scary.
Halloween games
Undead Smackdown – Ben and Jerry’s version of wack-a-mole…except you’re whacking zombies with a shovel.
Tomb Chess – Clear your “graveyard” of your opponent’s “ghouls”.
Transylmania – Turn all of the invading villagers into the …read more
