Can the Nationals Sign Stephen Strasburg?

The good news for the Washington Nationals is that they have the rights to Stephen Strasburg after selecting him first overall in the 2009 MLB Draft. The college pitching phenom struck out almost two batter per inning this season during one of the most dominating pitching seasons on record.
The bad news? They now have to sign him. His agent, Scott Boras, is infamous around the baseball world for squeezing out every possible penny.
