In fact, Kazemi supposedly followed Ignagni as a few weeks before the murder. Rumors had surfaced at the time of McNair’s murder that perhaps Kazemi was jealous of another woman in McNair’s life, and this latest development seems to confirm that. One report says that:

Leah Ignagni told police that McNair visited her around 4 a.m. on July 2, just a couple of hours after Kazemi’s DUI arrest, and then the former Tennessee Titans star spent the night at Ignagni’s apartment before leaving early July 3.

In other words, McNair bailed Kazemi out of jail for a DUI, and then headed to Ignagni’s house on July 2nd.

While I understand that leaving a sport in which you excel to a “ordinary” life can be stressful, isn’t this just justifying the fact that McNair had an affair? Is it reasonable to give reasons why he would have an affair, when his wife and children are grieving?

Police have ruled that McNair’s death was a homicide, however they haven’t ruled that Kazemi’s death is a homicide. That missing piece of information has fueled the murder-suicide speculation.

Although McNair is married, he had reportedly been dating Kazemi for three or four months. The two even went on a vacation together. Pictures of their vacation are available on TMZ.com.

Following forensic testing, the police should be able to tell whether the crime scene was indeed a murder-suicide.

No matter the outcome, R.I.P. Steve McNair.

Right now, everyone is talkin about Steve McNair’s death, which appears to be a murder-suicide. Although most people talk about his NFL career, he was also an outstanding player in college.

Here are the highlights from his time playing NCAA Football:

McNair played for Alcorn State after being recruited from Mount Olive High School in Mississippi.

He was the third pick overall in the 1995 NFL draft.

In 1992, McNair ran the ball in for a game-winning touchdown against Grambling, even though he had a leg injury.
In his senior season, McNait had around 6,000 yards passing and rushing, as well as 53 touchdowns.
