There are so many games nowadays and parents are usually hesitant of their child spending time on video games as it is a distraction to their studies and it doesn’t provide any benefit to brain development of people.
Georgia Institute of Technology and North Carolina State University have teamed up via a $1.2 million grant to research the benefits of video game playing. Noah Wyle Returns in Spielberg Show

Steven Spielberg is creating a sci-fi series which will air on the TNT network. I hadn’t heard about this project before but after learning that Dreamworks Television is producing it along with Robert Rodat, my interest immediately increased.
Spielberg and Rodat have worked before on the Oscar-nominated movie, Saving Private Ryan, so it’s clear that they work pretty well together.

Everyone’s talking about it.
It was by far the biggest news to come out of the E3 video game expo last week, and it carries implications far beyond the world of gaming. Heck, even Steven Spielberg was on hand to help unveil it.

Spielberg in the Olympics

Steven Spielberg will join filmmaker Zhang Yimou in designing the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Zhang, who directed films like “Hero” and “House of Flying Daggers,” is to lead a team that reportedly includes Spielberg.
It said that Zhang didn’t make any commitments to direct new films for the next couple of years just to prepare for the Olympics. Though he does have other ongoing commitments that may or may not affect his role in the Olympics.
