Though only a handful of tablet PCs have been released so far, everyone believes 2010 is going to be the Year of the Tablet. Apple’s long-awaited device will undoubtedly be at the forefront, though Microsoft’s dual-paned Courier project looks highly impressive. Manufacturer ICD has added a new entrant to the race that looks mighty impressive.
Boasting a huge, 15.6″ touchscreen and tons of powerful built-in technology, the Vega tablet has a lot to live up to. Plus, it’s got a sleek design that begs to be handled.

A laptop, a Kindle, a tablet PC or the new Microsoft Courier? The courier brings dual-screen functionality to the tablet PC. The Courier mixes motion gestures, stylus and touch-screen functionality to a device that puts the book back into notebook.

Apple Netbook/Tablet on the way?

It’s the rumor that won’t die.
For almost five years, it’s been believed that Apple is working on a touchscreen tablet PC, thanks to patents filed by the company for just such a device dating back to 2004 and 2005. Rumors had swirled since long before those dates, though, that Steve Jobs was planning to unleash the first Mac Tablet in the near future.
