Marion Barber Expected to Play in Week 4

After missing last week, Marion Barber is expected to play in Week 4 for the Dallas Cowboys. The team’s starting running back, who is dealing with quad injury, impressed his boss.
Said Cowboys owner Jerry Jones: “He did more than we thought and he will have expectations, I would like to reserve that to after practice, but I bet he’s pretty aggressive out here in practice.”
Felix Jones, who started in Barber’s place in Week 3, will be out of action in Week 4. Jones injured his knee and will need to miss at least one game.

Marion Barber Injury Update – Strained Quad

If you watched the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, you undoubtedly saw Cowboys running back Marion Barber go down with an injury. Right away it appeared as if Barber had injured his left quadriceps. It has now been confirmed that Barber sustained a strained quad muscle.
Barber’s injury was confirmed via an MRI on Monday. While the Cowboys are saying that Barber is receiving treatment in an attempt to play this weekend against the Carolina Panthers, many media reports indicate that Barber will likely have to miss at least one game.
