So, have you been waiting to a demo to be released of TellTale’s and Ubisoft’s detective style adventure game, CSI: Hard Evidence, because you’ve heard that it might not be as much fun as say… a broken arm? Well, I have good news for you!

TellTale, with the blessings of Ubisoft, has created a demo of the first act in CSI: Hard Evidence in which you get to figure out who set a cabby on fire! And I can tell you it definitely wasn’t me. Setting fire to people just isn’t my style. You never get the smell of burning flesh out of your clothes! Not that I would know anything about that. Let’s just say that I’m definitely NOT in this demo. I wouldn’t make a very good video game character, anyways. I’d be too spastic and would probably make people throw up.

So, if you want to play the demo before you buy it, you may do so here. This way you can totally tell if it’s worth spending $29.99 for the PC version or $39.99 for the Wii or Xbox. I love demos!

CSI: Hard Evidence Demo Goodness!

TellTale Games and Ubisoft are awesome, aren’t they? They’re always trying to make us fun adventure games that you can play no matter what type of console you have… Well, except for Sam and Max… they haven’t gotten that far yet, but I’m thinking they might do that… someday. But that didn’t stop them from getting out another adventure game to the Wii.

CSI: Hard Evidence for the Wii has just shipped out to be in your local gaming stores. I mean, take a look at Bestbuy… they’ve got it there for only $39.99. Aren’t they hip? And if you don’t have a Bestbuy, that’s okay, because you can order it right here from the TellTale Games store for the same price. We are spoiled, aren’t we?

Don’t worry about not having a Wii if you want to play this little thriller of a detective game, because they have a version you can get for the PC and the XBox 360.

Sam and Max Christmas Movie!

Okay, so if you live anywhere close to San Rafael, California (it’s close to San Francisco for all those people living near San Francisco, but have never heard of San Rafael), then there may just be a chance of a life time knocking at your door. That’s right, you can quite possibly be a game tester for a day? Isn’t that what you’ve always dreamed of? Trying to find bugs in video games and eating potato chips while drinking Mountain Dew? Wouldn’t that be sweet assed?

Well, on Saturday, December 9th, TellTale Games will give you the opportunity to maybe test Episode 3 of Season 2 of Sam and Max. You can hang out with some cool TellTale people and get drunk, too! Okay, I doubt there will be any booze there, but you can always hide a flask in your jacket and take a swig from it every time you go to the bathroom. If you’re disappointed about not having booze, they will make it up by feeding you pizza!

The announcement for this rather cool opportunity came out of Emily (who happens to actually work for TellTale) in a forum topic over on the TellTale forums. If you want to participate, go over to this post in the forums and read all about it.

Be a Game Tester for a Day

According to this review over at Adventure Gamers, there’s a lot to look forward to for the first episode of this season.

Improves on nearly every element from the best of last season; dialogue is sharp and crisp and very funny; game plays a bit longer than most of Season One and is definitely more challenging.

Excellent. We wouldn’t want the writing and the witiness of a brand new season to suffer, would we? And longer episodes? Now, that’s even more exciting than having my moles lasered off. Seriously! Way more exciting!

Sam and Max Episode 201 Adventure Gamer Review

That’s right… I said “Machine Gun Wielding Santas”. They are something you’re going to have to be afraid of this Christmas. Oh, no. I don’t mean THE Santa will be wielding a machine gun. I mean, the Santas on the new season of Sam and Max, and more specifically I mean the first episode of the season: Ice Station Santa. And even more specifically, I mean you need to go look at the trailer for the new episode!

New Sam and Max Contest – Win Stuff!

Well, with the recent release of CSI: Hard Evidence, we can safetly say that TellTale Games must be verrrrry busy, because there is news that Sam and Max Season 2 will start showing on those digital shelves in early November. What day in November, you may ask? Well, that day would be November 8th… well, November 8th if you’re a member of GameTap. If you’re not, then you’ll have to wait a whole extra day to see the game downloadable from the TellTale Games store. I know, it’s hard to wait an extra day. BUCK UP, BUCKO. You can do it! I know you can!

The first game of the new season, which to you and me is episode 201 shall be named Ice Station Santa and will probably feature Santa on ice. Or it maybe it won’t. I just made that up. Well, I didn’t make up the episode name, but I did make up the whole “features Santa on ice” thing. I’m weird that way.

Pricing for the new season is much like it was last season. You can purchase one episode for $8.95 or you might want to purchase the entire season for $34.95. I say that’s a deal, if I ever did see one.

TellTale is ROLLIN’ – Sam and Max Season 2 news

Bosco is one sick bastard. Is Bosco talking about his “package” really all that “kid friendly”? Maybe it’s one of those jokes that only adults would get, would it? I also love the screaming Bosco. He is one disturbed character, that’s for sure.

It would appear that season 2 is off to a good start. Can’t wait to play!
