Iverson Contemplating Retirement

Considering the latest off-court drama, it’s no surprise that Allen Iverson is contemplating retirement. The 14-year NBA veteran took a bit of a hiatus from the Memphis Grizzlies this past weekend in order to deal with “family issues.”
There were also rumors circulating that “The Answer” is frustrated and discontent with his new reserve role for Memphis. Iverson is used to being the star and the go-to player. He’s not used to coming off the bench in a supporting role.
But this is the way it is, and Iverson isn’t the player he used to be. Somehow, his selfishness and ego have …read more
Terrell Owens & Rodney Harrison Trade Jabs
September 28, 2009 by Cherie Burbach

Why do people fight using Twitter? Especially famous people? Well it seems Terrell Owens and Rodney Harrison are doing just that. At least, on Terrell’s side of things. Rodney seemed to start things by calling Terrell a clown. He said he’s only interested in his own stats and not whether his team wins or loses.
After Terrell gave a press conference following the Bills loss to New Orleans on Sunday, Rodney reiterated his original “he’s a clown” response. T.O. for his part, was short and grumpy (to put it mildly) that his streak …read more
Terrell Owens Dating a Model

I gotta admit, Terrell (T.O.) Owens cleans up nicely. I mean, look at how cute he looked at the ESPY awards on Wednesday! I must not be the only one who thinks so either. T.O. has been spotted quite a few times with model Jessica White.
He’s filming that reality show for VH-1 right now, and one source says that he and the gorgeous Jessica are “always out together.” T.O.’s not admitting anything just yet, however. While a friend of Jessica’s says they are dating, T.O.’s rep has remained mum. (Although saying nothing isn’t exactly …read more
Terrell Owens Barks at Fans

Terrell Owens is filming a new reality show right now, but that doesn’t mean he’s changed his tune as being somewhat… shall we say…. cranky? Apparently while the camera is on, he’s all smiles and charm, but as soon as the lens is off he is giving fans dirty looks and barking at them.
One source says he “he was a jerk to everybody that wanted a photo or even to say ‘hi.‘ He gave people dirty looks when anybody said anything to him. He told one person in the pool, ‘Say my name right!”
I had a couple …read more
Could Brett Favre Sign with the Bills?

Everywhere you look, you see talk about Brett Favre signing with the Minnesota Vikings. It makes a lot of sense since the Vikings have a glaring need at quarterback and Favre would love to sign with Minnesota so he can be right next door to Green Bay.
But what if Favre wants to return — but not with the Vikings? Could Brett Favre decide to sign with the Buffalo Bills?
It would also make a lot of sense. In the offseason, the Bills signed Terrell Owens to pair with Lee Evans at wide receiver. And while Trent Edwards is a solid quarterback, …read more

If you can’t get of Terrell Owens, you can now get 24-hour T.O. on the Terrell Owens’ Twitter (@terrellowens81). In a recent tweet, Owens blamed Tony Romo and Jason Garrett for his departure from the Dallas Cowboys.
The talented wide receiver who signed in the offseason with the Buffalo Bills had this to say when asked about leaving Big D:

The Buffalo Bills soap opera of an offseason continues. The latest drama happened on Saturday when safety Donte Whitner got tasered and arrested outside of the House of Blues in Cleveland. Whitner was in Cleveland to celebrate Ted Ginn, Jr.’s birthday. Ginn, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, was a high school teammate.
According to the police statement, Whitner became violent and then police officers tried to restrain him. However, after breaking free, Whitner allegedly got into a fighting stance and was subsequently tasered by police. At that point, the police were able to handcuff him.
Whitner is being charged with …read more

Terrell Owens signed a one-year, $6.5 million contract with the Buffalo Bills shortly after being let go by the Dallas Cowboys. For the first time since signing Owens, Bills players are getting together to start their offseason conditioning programs. Owens, who isn’t known for shying away from controversy, didn’t show up.
However, it should be noted that this offseason program is voluntary. In fact, Owens has almost always skipped these programs when with other teams in his NFL career.
Dick Jauron, the coach of the Bills, earlier in the month pubicly expressed his hope that Owens would take part in offseason voluntary …read more
Bills Sign Owens – Super Bowl Contenders
March 7, 2009 by Stephen Kersey

As we said, the Dallas Cowboys made a mistake by releasing Terrell Owens. On Friday, the Buffalo Bills capitalized on that mistake by signing the controversial wide receiver to a one-year contract.
Owens will be a fantastic fit with the Bills. While they have an improving defense, the team’s offense wasn’t going to get much better as it was constructed. Enter Terrell Owens. Now they have a wide receiver that can garner a lot of attention. That will open the door for Lee Evans on the other side to get down the field.
If the Bills defense steps up and Trent Edwards …read more
Cowboys Make Mistake, Release Owens
March 4, 2009 by Stephen Kersey
A couple months back, we wrote about how it’d be a bad idea to release Terrell Owens. However, the Cowboys didn’t listen to our advice and went ahead and released him.
Along with the release, the Cowboys might as well have released their claim as one of the best teams in the league. Owens, for all his troubles, is arguably the most talented receiver in the game. He’s big, he’s fast and he makes plays.
Now Tony Romo will face even more pressure. And considering that Romo is allergic to pressure, this is not good news for the Cowboys. Yeah, Roy Williams …read more
