The South Seas

It’s summertime and everyone needs a refreshing drink that packs a punch and boy do I have one for you today.
This is a cocktail submitted to Sailor Jerry Rum’s website by Nick Shelton. It’s fresh and fruity without making you feel like you’re drinking a chick drink.
The South Seas
Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Sailor Jerry Rum
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
2 Mint Leaves
Orange Slice
Cherry

Directions:
Muddle all of the ingredients [you can use a spoon] in the glass of your choice and add ice.
Fill with splash of 7up.
Garnish with a mint leaf.
