I’m really liking this 2 fights per episode thing they’ve got going on in the past two weeks. I’m not one for much drama so seeing more fighting and less in-house idiocy, so they’ve been better, less drawn out episodes to me. Perhaps there’s not as much drama as in past years, so they’ve had to do things this way, I really don’t know.
This episode picks up after Dean Amasinger loses to Demarques Johnson. Back at the house Cameron Dollar is talking to Amasinger about how he got caught in Johnson’s triangle and how he could have got out of …read more

The Ultimate Fighter Season 9, Episode 5 rRecap . It’s obvious that there is little to no cohesion among Team USA. While they often show Team UK having fun and being supportive of each other, team USA is often just sitting around, moping and talking trash to each other.
After the first loss to team USA, Jason Dent suggests that the team be respectful when returning to the house, but Cameron Dollar says he’s going to do what he wants.
The next fight is picked and Michale Bisping has picked Andre Winner to fight Team USA member Santino DeFranco. DeFranco looked like …read more
The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 Episode 4 Recap

Last night’s Ultimate Fighter 9 episode(4) was pretty good. We were introduced to the team’s assistant coaches. Michael Bisping has brought along Mario “Sucata” Neto as his wrestling and submissions coach and Dave Jackson for Thai Boxing. Dan Henderson brought in Heath Sims, Cyril Diabate, Ricardo Feliciano, and Gustavo Pugliese.
They show Team UK training and they look like they are training very hard. Even Michael Bisping says that he doesn’t think Team USA is training harder than them and from the footage they show, it’s tough to argue that.
Bisping is always talking trash, trying to get inside Team USA’s head …read more

Last night following the great UFN 18, The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 premiered. Dana WHite, Dan Handerson, Rich Franklin and Michael Bisping were all at the Wolf’s Lair in the UK to see what 8 fighters out of 16 would be going to the U.S. for the show. Some of these fighters performed
great and I gotta say that some of them had really quick hands, while others had fast submission techniques. I haven’t seen the caliber of the U.S. fighters, which we will see next week, but they’ve got some stiff competition come from across the pond.

It’s official. 32 cast members have been selected for the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter Season 9: US Vs. UK. Dan Henderson is coaching the U.S. team and Michael Bisping, winner of TUF season 3 will be coaching the UK team. The UFC never fails to cast some amazing fighters as coaches. Ok, well maybe season 2 had it’s flaws. I’d love to go down the list, but here is a link to read about the fighters instead of me listing and paraphrasing. As always, this should be another interesting season of The Ultimate Fighter.
