Has social media networking killed the old fan clubs? Remember when you could just write a letter to your favorite baseball player and include a baseball card and sometimes you would get it back and it would be autographed? Those days are gone. Today on the Thursday 10, I’m bringing you 10 of the funniest commercials involving current and former Major League Baseball players. The commercials are in no particular order. Sit back and enjoy the show.
I’ll kick things off with a commercial that wasn’t on my first list, but while watching another, it was recommended and I loved it. After seeing all of the hoopla surrounding Jay Bruce’s debut this week in Cincinnati, I started to wonder if he will turn into the franchise-type player everyone expects him to be.
