There are also rumors of a UK TV presenter, a 40 year old sex addict, a famous married singer, and another porn actress (Veronica Siwik-Daniels).

Daly has some fairly interesting ideas as to who would play him before and after his lap-band surgery.

“I just saw Matt Damon, how he swung a golf club, and I thought if I ever made a movie, I want him to be me,” Daly said. “The tough part is who would play me at 290 pounds. Now Kevin James, he’s my bud, but he’d be good.”

I’m not 100% sure, but I think Daly was joking about the Matt Damon part of that quote.  At least he should be joking.  Kevin James, on the other hand, would be a perfect choice to play the rotund version of John Daly.

Finally, I never thought that John Daly would be the voice of reason on any subject, but it seems he’s on the money as far as criticism of Tiger Woods by fellow players goes.

“I’m not too happy with what some of the players have said,” Daly said. “Without him our tour would not survive as what it is when Tiger plays. I just hope for him and [wife] Elin that they get through it.”

Is There a John Daly Film in the Works?

The man on Woods’ bag for the last decade has come out publicly to support his embattled boss.  Which is pretty well what any good caddie would do–right?  But don’t expect him to talk about Tiger’s private life–or any skeletons that may still be lurking in Eldrick’s closet.

“That’s what friends are for,” he told the New Zealand Herald. “You support them through good and bad. It’s like marriage, really.”

But how long can this ‘marriage’ last between Williams and Woods.  If Tiger is genuine about staying married to Elin,  the question arises–will she let him stay on as Tiger’s caddie?  Especially if she believes (and rightfully so) that Woods confided in Williams about his extra-marital affairs.

Looks like Steve Williams better enjoy his gravy train while it lasts.

Caddie Steve Williams Stands by Tiger

Furyk’s final round 5-under 67, left him at 13-under for the week, good for the one shot victory over Ireland’s Graeme McDowell.  Furyk’s play on the final two holes showed that even though it’s been awhile, he still remembers how to close a tournament.

On No.17, after blasting out of the greenside bunker, Furyk had himself a 35-foot par putt.  His plan was to leave it withing 3-feet, then escape with a bogey.  Great plan–until his par putt dropped in.  He followed up that shot with a beautiful 9-iron to within 5-feet on No. 18.  A glance at the leaderboard showed that Lee Westwood had birdied No.17 to tie Furyk.  No worries for the American–he calmly drained the birdie putt, and went on to victory.

Jim Furyk Rallies to Win Tiger’s Tournament

First, take a look at Rachel Uchitel. Though The National Enquirer says she had an affair with Tiger, Ms. Uchitel denies it.

Then there is Jaimee Grubbs. Ms. Grubbs (below left) claims she had a 31-month affair with the golfer.

In the December 14 2009 issue of US Weekly, the Los Angeles cocktail waitress tells the magazine that  she met Woods at a Las Vegas nightclub the week after the 2007 Masters — two months before Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, gave birth to their first child. Grubbs claims to have proof in 300 text messages. You probably have already heard the audio circulating of Tiger Woods pleading with Jaimee to take her name off her voicemail.

Tiger Woods’ (Alleged) Mistresses

But despite co-leading the tournament, Poulter is none too happy about it.  And I can’t say that I blame him.  He should have scored in the low 60’s, except that he three-putted on a pair of par five’s, and had a horrendous double bogey on No. 18.

And one final note on Woods–when asked if Tiger’s ‘transgressions’ have been a topic during the tournament, Zach Johnson put the final word on it.

“We haven’t talked about it,” Johnson said. “It hasn’t even been a thought.”

Bet Tiger wishes everyone else was following Johnson’s lead.

Poulter, Johnson Share Lead at Woods’ Event

All of the drama erupted after several media outlets reported that Tiger was in “serious condition” following a car accident but when the story sounded increasingly bizarre, everything took a weird twist.  I, along with the rest of the world, went from wondering if he was going to survive to wondering whether his wife had kicked his ass.

Initially, it was reported that Elin Nordegren, a.k.a. Mrs. Tiger Woods, had used a golf club to bust out the windows of his Escalade in order to pull him from the wreckage.  Before long, though, people were saying that she was the one that was causing all the damage.  Reports emerged that she had followed him down the driveway in a golf cart and the injuries on his mouth and face weren’t consistent with him having a car accident.

The mystery remains, though, about why he was unconscious for so long.  Did she smack him in the head with the golf club?  Elin was allegedly upset over the fact that news of Tiger having an affair was spreading quickly and she went nuts.  She must be downright homicidal at this point, though, since two more women have come forward claiming they have slept with Tiger.

Some of Tiger’s colleagues have come out and denounced his actions (Tiger apologized publicly for his “transgressions”) and many have wondered how this will impact his marriage and his career.

Electronic Arts has enjoyed a lot of success as a result of their relationship with Tiger and I’m sure they are thinking that this whole controversy might actually make people more interested in him.   “Our strong relationship with Tiger for more than a decade remains unchanged,” a spokesperson told IGN. “We respect Tiger’s privacy, we wish him a fast recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on the golf course.”

EA Sports Is Standing By Tiger Woods

Parnevik, unlike the media, isn’t holding back judgement on Woods though.  In fact, he’s none too pleased with the world’s No.1 golfer.  He had a few choice words for Tiger, in an interview with the Golf Channel.

“I would be especially sad about it since I’m kind of — I really feel sorry for Elin — since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him,” Parnevik said. “We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of the 3-iron.”

Sympathetic words for his former nanny, and quite the opposite for Woods.  Parnevik finished the interview with some backhanded advice for Tiger.

“It’s a private thing of course,” he said. “But when you are the guy he is, the world’s best athlete, you should think more before you do stuff … And maybe not just do it, like Nike says.”

Jesper Parnevik Lashes Out at Tiger Woods

Now, the Chicago Sun Times is saying that Tiger and his wife have “entered marriage counseling and are in the process of reworking their pre-nuptial agreement.” Reportedly, Tiger is paying his wife Elin a “hefty seven-figure amount” to remain in the marriage.

Tiger has asked for privacy for he and his wife during this time, but I have to wonder what this guy was thinking. He’s the most famous golfer in the world, and privacy when he’s having affairs is not something that is going to happen. Women are freely admitting they have had affairs with him, and even keeping voicemails to play now.

What will the next revelation be?

Tiger Woods Reworks Prenup

While Woods hasn’t verified that he is indeed the voice in the video, it does sound like him. Add to the fact that he recently admitted to “transgressions” regarding his family following his suspicious traffic accident, a lot of evidence points to this video being authentic.

Jaimee Grubbs is the second woman who has been linked to Woods lately. The National Enquirer claimed Woods had been having an affair with someone out of New York (Rachel Uchitel). Grubbs is from Los Angeles.

As far as golf is concerned, Woods had to back out of his own tournament that was going to commence in less than a week. There’s no word on when Tiger will again pick up his clubs … or when his wife will put down her clubs.
