Why Hasn’t Sting Ever Tried Going To WWE

Sting has been around for quite some time. He’s a big name in pro-wrestling and it’s always been a question of if or when Sting will be added to the WWE Roster. It’s getting kind of late in his career now and he’s been contemplating retirement. Do you think he’ll retire the face-paint too, or will he wear it from time to time at the house?
Sting recently told the UK Sun (Not the most reliable magazine for news) that he has plans on retiring sometime soon.

Sign, Sign, Everywhere A Sign

I’ve never attended a live Pro-Wrestling event. I would prefer to see it from the comfort of my own home and here is a couple of reasons why.

The first reason is that I like the fact that you can see everything very well at home instead of getting stuck in some nosebleed seat. I don’t care how big the show screen is, everything is much more clear at home and close up.
Other fans and their stupid signs. Sometimes the signs can be funny and entertaining. But if I’m sitting in the stands of worse, on floor seats and …read more

Kevin Nash’s Status In TNA

Rumor has it that Kevin Nash has already signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling, however any rumors of a resigning have been reported as false.
Jeff Wilen in his JAWbreaker segment at three8six.com, spoke to Kevin Nash on the phone yesterday afternoon. Nash told Wilen that his contract with TNA runs out on October 10th and that he had been in talk with Vince McMahon.
‘I talked to Vince (McMahon)," Nash said. ‘He offered me a contract, but he wanted me to dye my hair.’
Nash reiterated a TNA Wrestling schedule would be easier on him than a WWE schedule.

Rick Flair Comments On His Decision To Leave The WWE

As we all know, Rick Flair "Retired" from wrestling in the WWE back in March, but still had some time left on his contract. Last month it was quite a shock when it was announced that The Nature Boy was leaving WWE. Not many people thought they would ever see Rick Flair in the WWE again…that was until the demise of WCW. It’s almost hard to believe it’s been 7 years since WCW went under. In an interview with Charlston.Net, Flair comments (see below) about his departure with the WWE and his new talent agent Elaine Gillespie, who is …read more

Impact Results: Samoa Joe Number 1 Contender

Last nights TNA opened up with Scott Steiner discussing how Kurt Angle stole his contract money when he came to TNA. Angle responded coming to the ring and threatening Big Poppa Pump. Christian Cage and Tomko both came to ring side to assist Steiner in beating Angle down but before the fighting got underway the rest of the TNA wrestlers (for the most part) came down to chase them out of the ring.
Backstage Cage tried to convince both Steiner and Tomko to win the Gauntlet for the Gold match and then forfeit it so Cage could keep his title. Not …read more

Against All Odds Results: Cage Retains

Obviously the biggest news from this match was Christian Cage retaining the title as the feud between him and Angle will in all likely continue at least until the next PPV. I am thinking the Sting/Abyss storyline is done but we will have to wait until Thurday’s show to find that out. Impact this week is going to be rough as they will be directly against Raw, especially after TNA just wrapped a PPV. Looks like I’ll have to do some channel flipping. Anyways here are the results from the PPV via TNA’s website:

– Preshow: Serotonin defeated Sonjay Dutt …read more

On last nights TNA impact Christian Cage revealed that his informant was Scott Steiner. “Big Poppa Pump” has been training Cage for his match against Angle on Sunday and will reportedly be ringside for the match. TNA is also hinting that the unofficial enforcer for the match might be Samoa Joe.
Sting got been down on impact after locking Abyss’ manager James Mitchell in a cage. After being freed by Abyss Mitchell and “The Monster” beat down Sting. It will be interesting to see if the beat down has any lasting effects leading into their Prison Yard Match at Against All …read more

iMPACT! Recap

So what happened after Abyss’ beat down of Sting last week? Well he chased him to the hospital opening the ambulace door not to find sting but only his bat. I for one was expecting to see some wrestling ass-kicking but good twist by TNA having sting vanish.
First match of the evening is an X-division five corner showcase with Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Austin Starr vs. Jerry Lynn. Not a bad x-division match. Nice match type, not very common to see this match or many comptitors on a typical episode. Mid-match Chris Sabin comes to …read more
