If you’re reading this blog, you’re not dead, so you’re probably REALLY strong, right?

But do you know what you’re made of? If you haven’t figured it our during the past year or so, when the economic climate was tough, when many companies were laying folks off, and it was hard to tell who to trust in government, religion or business leaders, then you probably won’t.

Now that you’ve been through the trials and tribulations you have, what did you learn about yourself, your style, your team, your hopes, your dreams, your company? It’s unlikely things are exactly the way they were before this mess started.

What do you believe?

What do you know for sure?

What don’t you know?

These tough times help you find and show your mettle, show what you’re really made of. How does your team see you now?

If it hasn’t killed you, it’s made you stronger.

I’ve gone through a lot of tough times in the last year, personally and professionally. I’ve learned who my friends are, and who they’re not. I’ve learned who I can trust at work, and who I can’t.

I’ve learned a lot of what I thought I knew was completely wrong…and a lot of what I knew was right on.

Take some time this week to reflect on the tough times, and be ready to move forward with strength and confidence, knowing these tough times have made you stronger!
