Who Will QB for the Trojans in 2009?

With Mark Sanchez out of the picture, the question on every USC fan’s mind is this: who will lead the Trojans to the National Championship in 2009? First string belongs to Aaron Corp right now, as per decisions at the end of spring training, but head coach Pete Carroll is known for playing whoever he damn well pleases, even if there are older players on the roster.

Paying Attention to Tricky Email Phishing Scams

I received an email the other day that was a very good spoof and knock-off email that’s entire purpose was for phishing and dropping off a trojan horse application in its payload. The question is whether or not you’re paying attention close enough to have seen it.

Outlook 2007 does a good job of letting you know when you receive emails that look suspicious. Here’s a couple of things I immediately look for in a seemingly weird or unexpected email.

A recent article in PC Magazine shares the research that Microsoft’s OneCare product finished dead-last in side-by-side comparisons to other anti-virus software.
“We recently learned that AV Comparatives conducted tests on Windows Live OneCare and the service did not pass their testing criteria,” a Microsoft spokesman said. “We are looking closely at the methodology and results of the test to ensure that Windows Live OneCare performs better in future tests.
