Before I get into the good stuff, I have to warn True Blood fans – there are MAJOR spoilers in this post so if you don’t want to know anything about the third season, I suggest you hit the “back” button on your browser right now.
Okay, if you’re still here you probably want to know what HBO has in store for next season.
I read all of the books by Charlaine Harris and, while I really enjoy the show, there are characters and storylines that I really wanted to see come to fruition on the small screen. It looks like I’m …read more
Music From HBO’s “True Blood”

Fans of the hit HBO vampire show, True Blood, might be interested in picking up a copy of the soundtrack. Judging from the track listing, I’d say that it is music from the first season since it contains tracks titled “Gran’s Story” and “Amy’s Departure” and those storylines have already been wrapped up for the most part.
If you’re thinking this is going to be some ghoulish collection of songs you would be wrong. The album features instrumental music that is haunting, melodic and, yes, for the most part a little creepy but this isn’t the soundtrack from some crazed …read more
True Blood Season 2, Episode 23 Recap

Yet again, about a million things were crammed into the episode of True Blood last night and I don’t even know where to begin. Okay, that’s not true – I know exactly what I need to talk about first.
Evan Rachel Wood made her first appearance as Queen Sophie-Anne and, while she wasn’t as horrendous as I thought she might be, I just wasn’t completely sold on her either. I guess she’s got the right look and all but I felt like she was overacting at times.
Either way, she adds a whole new set of problems for Bill since he went …read more
Tru Blood – For Real and In Your Cocktail

I am NOT obsessed with this show and the books that started the whole thing. I’ve said that before, right?
Hmm…”The lady doth protest too much, methinks”.
ANYWAY, if you’ve been watching the show, have read the books or basically, if you HAVEN’T been living under a rock, then you probably have a basic idea of what Tru Blood is and if you don’t, well, I’m going to tell you.
The basic premise of the books and show is that about five years ago, some Japanese scientists created a synthetic blood substitute that allowed vampires to come out of the coffin so to …read more
True Blood Recap – Will Sookie Choose Eric?

It was a crazy good episode of True Blood last night – did you watch it? Just about every character on the show was having some sort of metamorphosis so I’ll start with the least dramatic and work my way up to what happened with our favorite vamps down in Dallas.
Jessica continued to lament over the fact that, since she died a virgin, she will always be a virgin vampire since they heal. Hoyt didn’t seem bothered by it and he tried to console her and reassure her that everything would be fine between them. He told her that …read more
Anna Paquin Cool With Nude Scenes

True Blood star, Anna Paquin, has no problem disrobing for her role as telepathic, strong-willed Southern belle, Sookie Stackhouse. It’s a good thing because, if she read the books that inspired the show (by Charlaine Harris), she would know that her character gets involved in a lot of hot and heavy situations.
Anna told AOL Television: “It’s a sexy vampire show and yes, there’s more getting it on, so to speak.”
I’m sure having her real-life boyfriend, Stephen Moyer, play her on-screen love interest, vampire Bill Compton, helps make her more comfortable.
She went on to say: “I feel fine. Although the way …read more

HBO’s hit series, True Blood, returns tonight for its highly anticipated second season. The first season finale left on a bit of a cliffhanger so I’m sure viewers cannot wait to find out what will happen. In case you’ve forgotten (or didn’t see it), here’s a quick overview of what happened at the end of the last episode.
Sookie Stackhouse and Tara Thornton walk Detective Andy Bellefleur out to his car because he was so drunk he could barely walk. After he swears that his car has been moved, Tara scans the area and sees it in the distance. When they …read more
Pre-Order First Season of True Blood

The complete first season of HBO’s hit series, True Blood, is now available for pre-order (also on Blu-ray). The show follows the life of Sookie Stackhouse (played by Anna Paquin, who won Golden Globe award for her performance), a waitress working in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps (“good times”).
Sookie might seem like a typical woman but she does have a secret – she can read people’s thoughts. In a dark and sexy twist, she is instantly drawn to the “new guy” in town, Bill Compton (Steven Moyer), who happens to be a 173 year old vampire. Fortunately, things …read more
