Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida stole the show at the Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale last night – not an easy feat considering the other amazing bouts on the card. In the first round Diego was absolutely slaughtering Guida, boxing him up against the cage and landing a direct kick to Guida’s face that no doubt knocked the taste out of his mouth. It was a miracle that Guida managed to survive the first round, but he did one better by coming back in the second to take Sanchez down and punish him on the ground.

It’s quite obvious from the previews that Jason Pierce is pretty much out of the run and his fight on this season. He’s got a staph infection that he’s complaining about and it seems to be getting worse. Dana White ask him if he wants to fight and Pierce is hesitant and Dana thinks he doesn’t really want to fight.

On Last Nights Episode Of The Ultimate Fighter Season 9, Episode 7: The show starts off with the impression that Jason Pierce and David Faulkner will be fighting. Back at the house Ritchie Whitson has a bit of impetigo on his face. He emphasizes that it’s not herpes and pierce is afraid of catching it.
They show him [Pierce] spraying Lysol all over the house, on pillows, walls, the floor, everywhere he goes. He even sprays it behind him as he walks as if the impetigo monster is following him. Makes him seem a little paranoid.
