Keith Jardine The Movie Star

UFC.Com reports that Keith Jardine, aside from fighting, has been busy with a few movies rolls. “The Dean of mean” has a small role in the sequel to the Jason Statham movie Crank, entitled “Crank: High Voltage“. It looks extremely cheesy, but then again so was the first one. He has also wrapped up filming for the movie “Game” which he explains is very similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Running Man, where he had a bigger role as an Ex-com.

UFC 96 Fight Card Filling Up

UFC 96 is set for March 7th in Columbus, Ohio.  As most know, the main event of the evening will be Keith Jardine Vs. Quinton Jackson in a light-heavyweight match.
Other confirmed televised main card fights are: Matt Hammill Vs. Mark Munoz and Shane Carwin Vs. Gabriel Gonzaga.
Preliminary card events include: Mike Patt Vs. Brandon Vera and Tim Boetsch Vs. Jason Brilz.
Kind of odd seeing Brandon Vera on a preliminary card. The Jardine and Jackson fight should be interesting as well as seeing the return of Matt Hammill.

Although most MMA fighters are paid much less than most professional athletes and perform even less, they still deserve recognition as being great athletes. The amount of training, fight-science and overall discipline that goes in to being an MMA fighter, it’s only right that they get the respect they are entitled to.
