The Minor Football League, which has teams located in states that include Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia, would be happy to allow Vick while Vick tries to get reinstated into the NFL.

As Richard Myles, the founder and president of Minor Football League, told the Associated Press: “One of the things that is important to the MFL is to showcase the quality of the players and the coaches who want to transition into the NFL, as well as give back to our communities by mentoring our youths.”

Myles went on to say that Minor Football League requires its players to perform community service and that his league would allow Vick to redeem himself.

While Vick is free to sign with Minor Football League or the United Football League, most NFL experts believe that Vick will focus on re-entering the NFL. To do that, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reportedly wants proof that Vick is sorry for what he has done and is ready to be a role model.

The UFL will have four teams in its first season. Those teams are located in San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas and Orlando. Additionally, the league plans to play games in Sacramento, Los Angeles and Hartford.

Although many people are skeptical about how long the UFL will survive, they have already landed some interesting coaches. The San Francisco team will be coached by Dennis Green, the New York Team will be coached by Ted Cottrell, the Las Vegas team will be coached by Jim Fassel and the Orlando team will be coached by Jim Haslett.

Signing Vick obviously would do wonders for the UFL. Fans would undoubtedly tune in to see Vick play on a football field once again.

That said, Vick playing in the UFL might not make much sense for him if he ever hopes to play in the NFL again. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wants Vick to prove that he’s sorry for what he’s done and it’s unlikely that Vick playing in the NFL will help matters.

Apparently, Michael Vick already has his next stop in mind. It seems the newly formed United Football League will be welcoming the convicted quarterback when he is released.
Vick will be unable to play in the NFL right away (at least it’s assumed), so this could be a spot for him to show what he still has left for many owners around the league. However, if he’s out of shape and lost a step, he could just be playing football for the last time.
