I guess I’ve missed a couple of these in the past week. Mike Brown has been both busy training and blogging. Just a few weeks away from his 2nd title defense and rematch against Urijah Faber and Brown still seems to be in good spirits. That’s kind of what we expect from a professional fighter and champion. In this blog, which was written last Thursday, Mike said that if he had to take an educated guess who would win the Light-Heavyweight title that it would be Machida, and he was right.
For what it’s worth, I’m taking Machida. He’s just so …read more

Less than three weeks away from WEC 41 and less than 5 days away from UFC 98! From one great event to another. I seriously can not wait to see Urijah Faber and Mike Brown get in the ring. It’s going to be a great night to say the least. This coming weekend we get to see Lyota Machida try to keep sis head off of the mat as Rashad Evans does his best to do the same.
Until June 7th you can check out this almost 5 minute preview of WEC 41. I’d love to see Faber come win but …read more

Sadly due to programming changes in the household, I’m going to have to sacrifice part my DirecTv package that include Vs.. Obviously that means no more WEC. However, I’m not going to make that change until after June 7th. Seriously, I can’t miss Faber Vs. Brown 2 .
That entire card is going to be fun to watch, especially the main event.
In this edition of WEC Featherweight Champion Mike Brown’s blog he talks about the unsung heroes of his MMA career and training. He tells how supportive his girlfriend is and has been throughout his journey in MMA. He also talks …read more

In Mike Brown’s latest blog leading up to his rematch with Urijah Faber, he describes his training for Faber as training for any fighter.
Honestly, I train the same way whether it’s Urijah or some kid who is 0-7. I hate losing any fight. So I always go out there with something to prove. Losing is like getting arrested as soon as you turn 18. It’s on your permanent record forever. I work as hard as possible in camp so that I have no excuses come fight night. I only have a few, but I don’t want any more losses on …read more

ON June 7th WEC 41 will present Brown Vs. Faber 2 , the “rematch” between WEC Featherweight Champion Mike Brown and Urijah Faber , the man he took the belt from. Faber who’s only lost twice in his professional career defended the WEC Championship 5 times before losing it to Brown at WEC 36 in November.
Brown has defended the title once against Leonard Garcia and proved to the WEC that he didn’t just “Get lucky” against Faber. Of course if you’ve been following Mike Brown throughout his career in MMA then you probably already knew that he’s a fierce featherweight.

Mike Brown Vs. Urijah Faber II At UFC 41. Earlier in the week I posted a rumor that Mike Brown might fight Urijah Faber in a rematch to defend his WEC Featherweight title against the man he took it from. Of course we all knew that it was more than a rumor but everyone was just waiting for some kind of confirmation.
Ariel Helwani of MMA Beat on Versus.com has confirmed that this fight will indeed …read more
