David Beckham Helps His Wife Celebrate

Of course not! He’s Becks! He must go big!

According to the New York Daily News, he got ten different rose tattoos around his arm, one for each year of wedding bliss with Posh Spice. When asked during a recent Ellen DeGeneres appearance how he and his wife keep their union strong, he said it’s not about the gifts but the special moments they share, like having dinner or just spending quality time.

(He didn’t say it, but I’m sure being an unbelievably beautiful couple who is loaded doesn’t hurt, either.)

Victoria, who had the surgery three weeks ago, is now recovering in France, and hubby David and their three kids are with her. The Sun says Victoria had her first surgery in 1999, where she went from a 34A to a 34D. Another surgery took her up to a DD. Now she’s back at a B.

Surely she could hold on to hunky David during the tremors, no? Posh Spice has even “had sessions in a earthquake simulator to try to get used to the movements.” The Beckham boys love it in L.A. but this earthquake business has given Victoria second thoughts.

Victoria Beckham Terrified of Earthquakes

Most people who go to Italy eat the local foods. I mean, it’s ITALY, for petes sake. Wouldn’t you check out the pasta and fabulous Italian dishes?

If you’re Victoria Beckham, the answer is no. Apparently while in Milan the Beckham clan is staying in a royal suite at the Principe di Savoia. And David has been eating the local grub but Victoria has “requested a special menu of fruits and vegetables.”

People need some carbs, Victoria! A piece of pasta (or ten) won’t kill ya!

According to Splash News, it’s a stylish black and white billboard with both David and Victoria Beckham in their undies.

Stylish undies. But undies nonetheless.

They both are representing Emporio Armani underwear. Apparently “thousands drive past every day.” I’d like to see how many accidents happen at this intersection!

The Beckham’s in Their Underware

Why did David Beckham think soccer would “catch on” in America? Why do people actually spend time trying to make Americans dig European “foot” ball?

It never works. Americans have their own version of football. It’s a wonderful sport. It’s filled with tough guys and drama and is in no way like its European counterpart.

And that’s okay.

Meanwhile, what becomes of David Beckham? He came to the U.S. two years ago and like everyone with high expectations on them… didn’t deliver. Oh sure, he was good. He’s cute. Make that DARN cute. But he didn’t increase the popularity of soccer in America one iota.

And it’s obvious that as much as he has enjoyed his time in the U.S., he’s ready to get back to Europe. Besides that, Posh is probably bored out of her mind. The writing was on the wall that he wanted to leave once he asked for a transfer (or as they called it, a “loan”) from the L.A. Galaxy to the Italian AC Milan for two months during the Galaxy’s off-season. Now, he’s made it clear that he doesn’t want to come back.

It’s nothing personal, I’m sure. It’s just that Italy is more in line with where he wants to play and Posh is tired of shopping in Beverly Hills. One source says he is supposed to “be back in his Beverly Hills digs by March 9, readying for the 2009 Galaxy season that begins 13 days later.”

But will he? What’s your thought?

Ba-Bye David Beckham

Halloween is over, so can anyone tell me why Victoria Beckham was seen dressed like she was on her way to a costume party? Splashnews says she was dressed in all over black, and “didn’t say a word as she walked through to the security gate.”

Methinks she was posing as a “shadow” (after all, they are also all in black and don’t speak) and that she secretly loves Halloween candy. (Someone tell her to lay off for a while though, she’s starting to plump up.)

Victoria Beckham Is Still Wearing Her Halloween Costume

That’s only the most money offered to any TV hostess in Italy.

Why the interest? David Beckham will be on “loan” to AC Milan in the LA Galaxy’s offseason to keep his soccer skills sharp. (Did that underwear ad help inspire Milan to bring the hottie to town?) The fam could go with him and the proposed show would revolve around their day-to-day life in Italy. However, reports have also cropped up that Posh may give Italy the boot, though we wonder if that 16 mil will sweeten the pasta pot.  

P.S. Yeah, we know Italy is on the euro now. Lotsa Lira is just fun to say (and type).

Milan lured Beck. Can they lure Posh as well?
