Penn & Teller: B. S. Game Violence Episode

If you have Showtime then you should be watching Penn & Teller’s: Bullshit. The format of the show is that they take a commonly held idea and then pick it apart. Past shows have been about things like astrology, orgasms and being green.
Episode 3 of season 7 is the one that you’ll probably be most interested in: video games violence.
I watched it the episode when it first came out and pretty much wanted to put my fist through the TV when Jack Thompson showed his zealot self.

Game Violence Actually Happens, Papers Get Right Info
Here’s a sad, mournful change of pace. A video game was inadvertently the cause of intense violence, and the papers got the name of the game right.
A 20-year-old UK man, Matthew Pyke, was found dead in his Nottingham flat. The Law believes his death may be related to the Advance Wars forum he maintained.
