In the last few seasons, Eddie Jordan has been able to turn water into wine. This season, it appears he has run out of magic. In the last few seasons, Eddie Jordan has been able to turn water into wine. This season, it appears he has run out of magic. With Gilbert Arenas out after undergoing his 345th knee surgery, Jordan’s Wizards look lethargic. It’d be best for both parties if Jordan got fired. He’ll be a coach again but these Wizards need a spark.

Mike Dunleavy, Los Angeles Clippers
Firing Mike Dunleavy will be more complicated because he’s currently both the coach and the general manager of the Clippers. But the Clippers are such a confused franchise that it’s time to make the move. The Clippers got older in the offseason by acquiring veterans such as Baron Davis and Marcus Camby. However, someone apparently forgot to tell the Clippers that they aren’t a playoff team. Adding veterans with big contracts made no sense and now someone has to pay.

Randy Wittman, Minnesota Timberwolves
Does anyone even know who the coach of the Timberwolves is? Apparently it’s Randy Wittman, perhaps the most boring coach in the whole league. While it appears as if the young players he’s coaching like him, he’s not doing too smart of a job lately. Bringing first round Kevin Love off the bench makes little sense. So little sense, in fact, that the Timberwolves need to find a coach who realizes that if you are going to lose, you might as well give your best young players a lot of minutes.

Vinny Del Negro, Chicago Bulls
The Bulls aren’t horribly underachieving or anything but have we figured out how Vinny Del Negro got the job in the first place? When he was an NBA player, he was as soft as anyone in the league, never wanted to practice extra and seemingly didn’t care about winning. How those traits translated to becoming an NBA coach is unknown. He should be fired based on principle.
