Univ. of Virginia bans all signs at sporting events

The University of Virginia has banned signs at all sporting events, effective immediately. The ruling comes after a little problem last season at a Cavaliers football game.
A student was almost ejected for bringing a sign that said, “Fire Groh,” in reference to Virginia head football coach Al Groh.
Virginia won’t be the last school to take this step. I’m sure others will follow in their footsteps rather quickly. Since you won’t be seeing any great signs in the stands at Cavaliers’ games, how about a trip down memory lane at some great sports signs.
