Sky Kid (NES)
From this week onwards, we can get info for both WiiWare and Virtual Console games. For the VC, Sky Kid (NES), a side-scrolling shooter, is the first Namco game that allows 2 players to play simultaneously. This is a game which you get to shoot planes and complete missions. 500 Wii Points for download.

This weeky Virtual Console, we’ll get Pokemon Puzzle League (N64) and Renegade (NES). One is beating the puzzle, the other is beating bad guys.

Jimmy and Billy Lee decide to kick some butts on this week Virtual Console. Yes, it’s our favourite Double Dragon from NES. Reali’ retro, reali’ good.

River City Ransom is a beat ‘em up which you are 2 high school students named Alex and Ryan on a mission to rescue Ryan’s girlfriend. You can execute higher level of punches and kicks as you progress through the levels. Cuter version of Double Dragon if you ask me.

Fantasy Zone (Sega Master System)

Mega Turrican (Sega Genesis)

Up for grab in this week Virtual Console are Fantasy Zone (Sega Master System, 1-2 players, 500 Wii Points) and Mega Turrican (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points). Both are shooters with Fantasy Zone as one that is cuter.

Nintendo is planning to re-release the white GameCube controller in Japan this month for a grand total of 2,000 Yen (about $20 USD). Some changes to the controller include a longer cord (three meters now). This is great news for Japanese Wii fans who can use the controller for playing some of the GameCube games available through the Virtual Console.
No word yet as to whether or not Nintendo will be re-releasing the controller elsewhere, though with luck it will be just a matter of time before they do.
