Miles Austin is a secret weapon no more. In Week 5 of the 2009 NFL season, Austin had a monstrous outing. The 6-foot-3, 214-pound wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys had ten catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns. The receiving yards broke a franchise record and his performance apparently earned him more action going forward.
Said Wade Phillips, head coach of the Cowboys: “We’re going to get him on the field. His run after the catch is so strong that if you get him the football, he’s liable to make a big play.”

Wade Phillips needs to be fired. It’s that simple.
The Dallas Cowboys are a very talented bunch. Offensively, they are oozing with talent at just about every position. Defensively, they are almost equally as talented.
That said, the 2008 Cowboys failed to reach the playoffs. And they did so in disgusting fashion. Facing a must win game in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys laid a giant egg. Instead of fighting, they fell 44-6 against the Eagles.
