Rebates for HD-DVD Purchasers at Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart

For those who still are grieving over the loss of the HD-DVD format and staring at their obsolete optical format, Amazon and Wal-Mart are offering some help in the form of compensation. Amazon is offering $50 of Amazon.com credit to anybody who’s bought an HD-DVD player before February 23 through their inventory, not third-party sellers though.
Wal-Mart is allowing those who’ve bought a player on or before November 1 to get a full refund and original packaging is not required. Just make sure you have the receipt and get to it before April 30. Best Buy is also offering $50 …read more
