		<description><![CDATA[For those who still are grieving over the loss of the HD-DVD format and staring at their obsolete optical format, Amazon and Wal-Mart are offering some help in the form of compensation. Amazon is offering $50 of Amazon.com credit to anybody who&#8217;s bought an HD-DVD player before February 23 through their inventory, not third-party sellers though. 
Wal-Mart is allowing those who&#8217;ve bought a player on or before November 1 to get a full refund and original packaging is not required. <p>Wal-Mart is allowing those who&#8217;ve bought a player on or before November 1 to get a <B>full refund</b> and original packaging is not required. Just make sure you have the receipt and get to it before April 30. Best Buy is also offering $50 credit if you&#8217;ve purchased a &#8220;Toshiba HD-A1, A2, A20, XA2, A3, A30, and A35&#8243; or the Xbox 360 HD-DVD add-on, which is a nice movie on their part. They just need to see your receipt and you still get to keep your HD-DVD player for your desire.</p>
<p>There are a lot a rebate programs out there, so look for one where you purchased your HD-DVD player.</p>
