Tired of the white accessories for the Nintendo Wii? If so, you can now pick up black Wii Remotes and Nunchuks. There aren’t any real differences between them and the regular white ones but I guess it’s cooler to some people.
The Wii Remote comes in a Wii MotionPlus bundle so that the controller features the increased sensitivity needed for those fine maneuvers in certain games.
It’s not really all that important to me and there aren’t that many Nintendo games that are “butch” enough to warrant needing these but I can see how some might want this sleeker, …read more

I love my Nintendo Wii and I’ve thought about taking it with me when I visit friends and family but I’m always too afraid to break it or lose things. This week, Nintendo is releasing an official Wii Carry All Case that can tote the essentials for up to 4 players.
The bag is made of a padded fabric so that it your console is well protected and has room for the sensor bar, power cord, AV cables, console stand, 2 Wii Remotes, 2 Nunchuks, and up to 3 Wii Game Discs.
This is perfect for this time of year since with …read more
“Bass Pro Shops: The Strike” For Xbox and Wii

The weather is getting colder but if you want to keep fishing, you can pick up a copy of Bass Pro Shops: The Strike. Okay, it’s not really fishing but aren’t video games supposed to help us do real life things in unreal settings?
I live in a small city outside of a major Canadian metropolis and a mall just opened near me that includes an actual Bass Pro Shops. I had never entered one of those stores before and, aside from the taxidermy (dead animals stuffed to look life-like), it was a pretty cool place. There were so many people …read more
CrossFire Remote Pistol for Nintendo Wii

The CrossFire Remote Pistol for Nintendo Wii was released a couple days ago and, so far, it’s the only Wii gun accessory that has the remote already integrated into the design.
I think that’s pretty cool because I find it cumbersome to have to attach the Wiimote to some device. If it’s going to take up space, I’d rather it be ready-to-go rather than needing to be reassembled every time I want to use it.
The A and B buttons and D-Pay have been repositioned for easy access and functionality so it looks like it would be relatively easy to get used …read more
Rumble Wheel For Nintendo Wii

A Rumble Wheel for the Nintendo Wii will become available tomorrow from Amazon and they come in blue, pink, white and black, from what I can see. Created by DreamGEAR, the accessory works with all racing games and includes wireless rumble technology.
I don’t know if you have any of the other Wii racing wheels but this looks a lot cooler and wayyyy more comfortable to hold that the plain plastic ones. Plus, I think it seems more realistic but I’m not sure I really need rumble when I’m just playing Mario Kart Wii.
The price is pretty good …read more
Skateboard Mount for Wii Balance Board

A skateboard deck mount that attaches to the Wii Fit Balance Board was released earlier this week and, while I had never even thought of such a thing, I can see how it could really enhance game play.
The attachment fits right on top of the Wii Balance Board and is the actual size of a real skateboard. There are a number of games that this could work with including Skate it, Shaun White Snowboarding, We Ski and Snowboard, Wii Fit (the snowboarding balance game) and all those skating challenges in EA Sports Active.
I love all these products for Wii …read more
New Accessory: Wii MotionPlus

The Wii MotionPlus is a new accessory for the Wii Remote and it is supposed to capture complex motion, making it more sensitive. I’m not sure what to think since I already feel that the Wiimote is pretty responsive. I plan on trying it but I am afraid that it might be hypersensitive which could be a bad thing. I’m willing to give it a chance, though.
The device, which connects directly onto the Wiimote is meant to enhance play control on compatible games (see list below). The Wii MotionPlus contains additional sensors that make the Wii Remote respond to …read more
Wii Riiser Aerobic Step for Balance Board

The Wii Riiser becomes available later this week (pre-order now!) and is just another example of an excellent accessory for the Wii Balance Board.
In case it’s not clear from this image, the Wii Riiser adds up to four inches onto you balance board, making step games much more challenging.
If you’ve ever played Wii Fit then you’re probably familiar with the basic step and advanced step. I think adding height to my balance board for these activities will really enhance the workout. Also, there are the strength training exercises where only one foot is on the board and the …read more
