WoWinSchool, World Of Warcraft In Schools

It is not surprise that MMORPG such as the popular World of Warcraft (WoW) can be used as a teaching tool in schools. Lucas Gillespie of EduRealms has started a wiki called WoWinSchool to help teachers in implementing WoW to their teaching.

The primary focus of this project is to develop a curriculum for an after school program or “club” for at-risk students at the middle and/or high school level. We don’t need no stinkin meetings

Image via WikipediaThis is just a quick rant. Meets are a pain in the butt. I mean, sometimes it’s necessary to meet and talk about a project or get people up to speed on the latest information. We have them each week for the bloggers and our group and I usually held a network meeting each week at my last company but to have meetings to decide what will be accomplished at the next meeting is rediculous.
