I might be going out on a limb here but I think that the majority of people who even bothered to watch Hancock thought it was pretty awful.  It sucked so bad, in my opinion, that I couldn’t even watch the whole thing.
Now I’m hearing that there’s a sequel in the works and I can’t for the life of me imagine why Columbia Pictures would want to do this.  Yes, it looks like there’s going to be a Hancock 2.

Will Smith’s movie, Seven Pounds, came out on DVD yesterday.  It tells the story of an “IRS agent with a fateful secret embarks on an extraordinary journey of redemption by forever changing the lives of seven strangers.”  I hadn’t even heard of the movie until all the buzz started happening about a “twist” in the storyline.  I was initially intrigued, after seeing the trailer, so I decided I had to go looking around the internet to find out what happens that is so interesting.  Let me just say, if you’re inclined to do the same thing – DON’T.  This …read more
