Wendy’s is having a pretty good promotion right now. Whenever you purchase a 30 or 40 oz. drink from the fast food chain, it comes with a code. If you’re wrong, you start playing a football game. You just pick whether you want to do a passing play or a running play, and the simulation starts. If you get a touchdown, you …read more
Did-win did-win did-win. Just.
Oooh-ee. England continued their rampant meander through this World Cup by accidentally beating Bangladesh in their latest Super 8 clash. England appeared to have taken heed of the must-win status, when the bowlers did a good job in bowling the ‘deshi’s out for 143. There were some plus points to come out of this – Jimmy Anderson found some form with the ball with another 4fer, Flintoff showed some evidence of why he was once the most revered man in cricket with a match-winning 75 off 72 …read more
Final Ashes warm-up starts today
The last opportunity for England players to stake their claim on a spot in the Ashes squad gets under way today, with the 4th Test between Pakistan and England at The Oval. It’s a “dead rubber” match – England have already won the series – so all that’s up for grabs is inflicting a humiliating 3-0 whitewash on Pakistan, or Pakistan claiming a lot less embarassing 2-1. I’d love to see England win this one, as ultimately the more confidence we have leading in to the Ashes the better. Though a 2-0 or 2-1 series result would probably be a …read more
