I’ve been using the MultiMon application for almost a year now and have been very happy with what it does. It allows me to move application windows from one monitor to another with the click of a button that displays alongside the minimize, maximize and close buttons on windows.

My boss was looking for a similar application, but one that would work better with more than two monitors, as well as provide additional window management features that would work with Windows Vista. He found what he was looking for with the SplitMon software.

Interesting video on some of the new user-interface options in Windows 7. Some windows management tools are improving. I like the changes. I think I’m going to have to seriously figure out a way to install Windows 7 on some kind of machine around here and give it a try.
