Play Crysis in the PS3 even if it’s not yet ported
So there are rumors of Crysis coming to the current-gen consoles. So what? You don’t have to wait for that to happen because at this point, you can already run Crysis in your PS3. You just need Ubuntu 7.04 in a disk, a Windows XP/Vista PC, a PS3, and an average IQ.

Gears of War annoyance #2: WTF? Extra installs!
Can you believe this? After taking forever to install, Gears of War for the PC is telling me to install more software updates on my PC. This time, the game wants me to get AMD Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 version (x86 and x64 exe) 1.3.2.16.
After downloading the update here, the system is now telling me that the CPU driver’s version must be uninstalled before the new driver may be loaded. When I try to uninstall the old CPU driver, it doesn’t work.

Crap-Detector: Crysis is prettier in DirectX 10
Remember that bit about Crysis needing DirectX 10 (and Windows Vista) so that you can view all the eye candy in their gorgeous glory? Well, forget I ever mentioned it.
Some geniuses at the Crysis-Online forums have just discovered that by simply copying and pasting a line in Crysis’ configuration file, you can now enable the supposed DirectX 10-exclusive features even if you’re using Windows XP.
