It’s been said that a good round of exercise after a night of heavy drinking is just the ticket to rid your body of the toxins you ingested the night before. Of course, if you have a bad hangover, it may be that exercise is that last thing on your mind. But, if you do think that exercise may help, think again.

Beer Drinking on the Upswing in the US

Despite losing its biggest brewery to the Belgians, the US really likes beer. A recent Gallup Poll indicates that the preference for beer increased to a double-digit margin over wine.
In 2005, wine was the alcoholic drink of the choice in the US, peaking at 39%. Since the, it has slipped to 31%, while wine has shot up to an amazing 47%. In other words, almost half of the alcohol consumed by US adults is beer.
