Zombies are always being used as shooting, slashing or abusing targets (or inspiration), whether in Resident Evil series or in some B-grade movies. It is not a surprise that an online MMO game is linked with zombies now.
The online browser game called Dead Frontier shoots zombies as the stars of the game. Developed by Jagged Blade Games (a one-man games studio), one can just play the game on any browser without the need of downloading additional software.
Dead Frontier combines 3rd person survival horror action with more traditional role-playing elements to create a totally unique MMO experience. Players will need to …read more

We all know that Apple and Macs are the uber-secure computing environment of choice for anyone that’s interested in computing securely? PC’s on the other hand are like pre-schoolers in a daycare full of sick kids. They’re going to catch whatever virus and bug floating around the room before you can even realize you’re all out of graham crackers and Kool-aid. I mean finding a non-perfect Mac is like seeing a unicorn in your backyard isn’t it? That is the case right?
Perhaps not so much anymore. Viruses may have a notch on their Apple belt now that researchers with Symantec …read more

I LOVE zombies. If I had thought about it at the time, when asked pirates or ninjas, I should have said zombies.
So, it warms my zombie loving heart to see that Konami is releasing Zombie Apocalypse for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network this summer.
Zombie Apocalypse tasks up to four players with killing [re-killing?] as many zombies as they can so that the world is saved from the brain-eating bad guys.
If you fail at your task, you become one of the undead so make sure that you kick some zombie ass or you’ll end up having brains for …read more
Is That a Dead Man?
I am not a zombie kind of dude. I just can’t get into the whole undead thing, but bloodthirsty robots or a widespread virus that is totally my cup of tea. Robots and viruses as likely as me winning a Pulitzer, but I think that zombies are even less likely.
So, not being a zombie fan I shied away from all of the Resident Evil games (and the movies). You may be asking yourself, “how can you blog about FPS-es if you have not blasted zombies?” Well, I don’t know either but I am doing it. So, Ha! However, …read more
New Half-Life 2 mod lets you play dead
Just when I decided to reinstall my old copy of Half-Life 2, news of an interesting mod pops up. Anyone ever heard of Zombie Panic? Notice that I’m a sucker for games related to ninjas, zombies, and samurai, so don’t be surprised when I start drooling over this new mod.
Zombie Panic is a multiplayer that pits humans versus zombies. The session begins with just one zombie (can’t an entire team choose to play as zombies?), but whenever a human is slain, he respawns as one of the undead. The human side wins when they wipe out the zombies.
Siliconera previews Silent Hill: The Arcade
Siliconera, one of our channel’s most popular blogs, has a nice new preview of Silent Hill: The Arcade. This version is quite different from what you’ve come to know of Silent Hill games, but it’s hard to say if it’s a good or bad thing.
If you enjoy a shortage of ammunition in your games, then you’ll be surprised to hear that this Silent Hill is chock-full of ammo. Yes, you’re looking at a shooter on rails.
