Mountain Dew Me

Today’s post stemmed from a play on words with a soda pop drink called “Mountain Dew “. Wait a second, did I just call it soda pop? Who calls it that anymore! Ok, a fizzy drink called Mountain Dew . It actually is a very delicious tasting drink, and when you get tired of the regular Pepsi or Coke and want to opt for a clear fizzy drink, Mountain Dew is always a good choice. I feel like Mountain Dew was one of those drinks that never really got enough credit. For some reason, I can only picture drinking a Mountain Dew after you have been on a massive mountain bike ride and your sweating and out of breath. You take a break, take our your Mountain Dew out of the cup holder and ‘bust the tab’ open and gulp it down. I probably have that image in my head only because that is what Mountain Dew’s commercial were forever, that and the fact that it has the word mountain in it. Funny thing is, is that I actually have never been on a Mountain Bike ride, and I don’t think I ever will, yet I will continue to drink Mountain Dew. Anyways, back to my post. Here is a hilarious t-shirt that plays on words with Mountain Dew, the soda pop.

Mount & Do Me. The reason why this is so hilarious other than the obvious is because a while back there was a rumor going around that Mountain Dew supposedly decreased men’s sperm count. What a hilarious rumor to be going around, but I’m telling you, I heard it when i was in high school and we all believed it. I think we just believed it though because it was funny to believe. It was also funny to make fun of any of the boys who were carrying around a Mountain Dew at the time. After seeing this t-shirt, I re-lived this rumor and thought to myself now a days with google, there has got to be something on ‘Mountain Dew decreases sperm’ and sure enough there were tons of entries. Who would have thought it would be such a popular topic.  While looking it up, I also happend to come across a new rumor that not only does Mountain Dew decrease sperm count, but it also creates ’shrinkage’. Don’t worry though guys, it’s false alarm. Moutain Dew does not decrease your sperm, or cause your you know what to shrink. Curious to read more? Just google it!
