Sad…Or Awesome?

You know those times when you start to feel sad about something and you actually could really shake the sadness off and forget about it but you don’t want to? Instead you dwell on the sadness and then really start to feel sorry for yourself and then it makes you more sad and then whatever you were sad to begin with has turned into being the worst thing in the world? And then all you need is something so minuscule happen and then you burst into tears and then can’t stop crying? Now you are crying even more and crying about everything in your life possible and don’t even remember why you started crying in the first place? Sometimes it actually feels good to cry and be sad but we tend to always overdo it and want to feel sorry for ourselves and just enjoy our sad times, but why do we want o be sad? Who likes being sad?

So embarrassing when people actually go to you to ask what’s wrong and you don’t actually even have anything to tell them. You try to make this elaborate reason that stemmed from your original thoughts so that you don’t look so stupid and yet, whatever you come up with still sounds pathetic.

That’s why I am a big fan of this t-shirt. When I get sad I sto being sad and be awesome instead. True Story. Why don’t we just stop getting sad when we are sad? People are so much more friendly and fun when they are in good moods so yes, people do become awesome when they aren’t sad. You aren’t picky, groaning, whining, and miserable.

Why would anyone want to choose being sad over awesome? Beats me…

If you’re a fan of Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother, you’ve got to love this t-shirt. It’s worth the $20 on ShirtCity.

    How does one become awesome?
