You have just had a wonderful day and are trying to say goodbye, but ‘bye’ just won’t cut it. So what do you say? What a fun, chirpy, and corny way to say goodbye. “See you later Alligator – Not for a while Crocodile”.

I used to use this expression all the time, ok…I still do. It’s fun yet so simple. So what’s the difference between a crocodile and an alligator. I realize that the alligator is the one saying ‘later’, and the crocodile will not see the alligator for a while, but really who’s who.
In this instance the croc is a little bit of a rollie pollie and it looks like the alligator is in the middle of Jenny Craig. So is that just the way this t-shirt is? Or are crocodiles generally bigger? I know one of them has a larger snout.
The ironic thing about this shirt is that crocodiles and alligators are far from being a frirendly animal so it is very far fetched that these two are having a ‘freidnly’ good bye. The reason why the crocodile won’t see the aligator for a while is beacuse he is meaning to eat him for dinner!
