For our next contest I have a few new t-shirts around here I’m sure some people would love to have. I’m not sure if anyone has noticed, but I’ve been adding the Threadless street team code to the end of all my Threadless posts. So whenever people have been buying shirts through the links on The Daily Tee, we have been getting points for it. I think I might cash some of those in soon and give out some gift certificates! Cool huh?

Jerry Garcia – Grateful Dead T-Shirt

Jerry Garcia, the guitarist and primary singer of the Grateful Dead was recently featured in Fader magazine. In tribute of Garcia, a limited edition t-shirt with an artistic representation of his name has been made.

If you’re into the Grateful Dead, this is definitely worth checking out. The tee was designed by artist Si Scott and is for sale at the Fader store.

The store page is a little odd, rather than selecting a shirt and then picking a size. The shirts are listed on the main page by their size. But, once I figured out how they had it listed, it was fairly easy to navigate.

T-Shirt Sales Feed More Than 200 Refugee Children in Africa

Africa Aid’s highly successful School Lunch Program has been feeding over 200 African children. How exactly is Africa Aid raising money to feed these children? Through t-shirt sales of course! According to the organizations website, the purchase of one $20 t-shirt helps feed one refugee child for one school year.

I encourage everyone to support this great cause! And get a cool tee at the same time.

I Like Cherry Flavored Popsicles

Don’t you hate it when your popsicle falls apart! There is nothing worse than a broken popsicle! Now I’m pretty sure this shirt is supposed to promote sharing… but I’d rather think of it as a tragedy. Who wants to share anyways?

Diesel Trovolone

This tee isn’t the typical screen-print-on-chest kind of tee we usually feature on here. But it’s still a t-shirt… a really awesome striped t-shirt.

This tee is from the Italian designer clothing company, Diesel. It’s for sale at ssense.com for $67.00 (yes… it’s pretty expensive for a tee, but wow… just look at it!)

If anyone knows of any similar tees that don’t quite cost so much, let me know.

Shirts-To-Avoid

The Daily Tee is all about the greatest T-Shirts on the internet. I’d like to change it up a little bit and find out what everyones LEAST favorite tees are. Please leave a comment or email me with your most hated t-shirt and once I have enough responses I’ll put up a list of everyones Shirts-To-Avoid!

I’ll start it off with this one from Threadless…

This tee is supposed to make it appear that you are wearing a Polo, rather than a regular tee. I’ve seen this tee worn in person and think it looks terrible (on men). The large pink elephant in puffy ink draws your attention, but not in a good way! This is my opinion on the shirt, what’s yours? Do you think this Tee is worthy of being on the Shirts-To-Avoid list?
