Does that mean when you are having a bad day you can just blame it on ‘my worse half’? Oh sorry, that wasn’t me who just yelled at you, that was my worse half.

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

When people usually use the term ‘my better half’ they are talking about their significant other. I never have understood this. If they are your significant other, they aren’t half of you, the would be ‘my better whole’, because they are a whole other person. I know metaphorically they are talking about them ‘completing’ you but still. You are still one person, and they are a whole other person, therefore, ‘my better whole’.

Then there are always the identical twins. I always thought what it would be like to be an identical twin. I used to think I would like it beacuse you would be such great friends, but really, you don’t need to be an identical twin to be best friends with your siblings, that can happen even if you don’t look the same. In fact, if I had an identical twin, I would probably drive myself crazy having to compare myself all the time. Who looks better, who is wearing a better outfit, who’s hair is nicer tonight, which one of us did our make up better. Wow that was exhausting just even thinking about.

As twins, you wouldn’t necesarily label your twin ‘the better half’ but you would try to blame your mistakes on them. You always see that in tv shows and movies, I wonder if it actualyl has ever worked in real life.

They are just so big, white and furry and feel that they could be so protective. Clearly, that is not the case.

Then there is this bear right here. Massive big black bear and looks so harmless, just wanting some honey.

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

Do bears really adore honey or is that just a myth because of Winnie the Pooh. Clearly they love all sweet stuff but would they really be able to tell the difference between sugar and honey? “Oh yumm…those campers have honey – my fav!”

Do you know what is even more adorable than this shirt? The fact that it comes in baby sizes!!!

I love Fairy Tales. I love the Once Upon a Time and love the Happily ever Afters. Once Upon a Time is such a great way to being a story, because it forces you to back up in your head a very long long time ago. You know it’s going to be magical. And the Happily Ever After part, well, that says it all. Happily Ever After. Wouldn’t that be nice? To just be able to say that and believe it? And know that you will be happy forever? Everything is going to work out for you until the end? Why can’t we think like that though?

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

Why don’t you make your life be Happily Ever After. Do what you have to do to be happy. It’s actually not that hard. Some people have life easier than others, but everyone has a shot and a fair chance to deal with what they have to make it a happy life.

Why have Fairy Tales become such a trend? As if it was ‘cool’ to read and tell stories about Fairy Tales but now everyone tries to stay away from them because they aren’t true. Ezpecially the Prince Charming Phase. I just want my Prince Charming and to live happily Ever After. Is that so hard to ask for?

The people who are energetic about everything even when it’s not something to get hyper about are annoying. Like calm down, and how much sugar have you had today?

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

You can normally tell the cheerleader type people may have been losers in high school. They get excitied about everything as if this is the first time they are doing it. Whoever chants “lets go do fun stuff” you know has never really don fun stuff.

I find that is the case with anything you have to state the obvious. I once had an experience recently where I was at a concert. I was already having a great time, and one of the friends I was with came up and shouted “Let’s have Fun Guys’!!!!!!!!!! What a laugh we had because after he said it he realized that it sounded silly, but you can’t tell someone to have fun, it has to come naturally. Once you tell someone to have fun it’s almost like you don’t want to? Or the moment is ruined because now it’s like you are obeying someones rules.

Sometimes though energy can’t be controlled. Same as what I just described as above, you can’t tell yourself to get hyper and energetic, it comes naturally and when it does, it’s hard to control or hide. I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I would like to introduce to you what I call a ‘hyper burst’.

aoshgapoiushdopqweihroiuewhrgiuwehrgiuwherighwierhgwioehbiouwerhgiqeu.

There. That is a hyper burst. Sometimes when I am talking to someone on msn, or email, or skype, or however you communicate to one another over a computer, I get so excitied about what we are talking about (whether it be plans for the evening or a weekend coming up) i all of a sudden get so much energy that i don’t know what to do with it. That energy all of a sudden goes straight to my finger tips where I have to let it out so go crazy on my keyboard. It is like my ‘release’. They energy is released out of my fingers onto the keyboard. I feels great! And some hyper bursts are longer than others….you should try it sometime…it works wonders!

There are things people should keep to themselves sometimes, and I think that probably should have been one of them.

How many times have you gotten into a fight with someone because you or they have misunderstood what you were saying. You thought they were really angry but really they just didn’t put an explanation mark at the end of their text so you thought they were unhappy with you. Or they say something over email and they really hurt your feelings because they insulted you so you don’t talk to them for a week and they haven’t a clue why. Why don’t they know? Because they were being sarcastic! These days however sarcasm is slipping through our figures because the way we communicate now a days does not pick up on sarcasm.

So yes, sarcasm can be a bad thing. It can also be a very good thing. Sarcasm lets people vent and rant and be really mean but pretending to be mean when there actually are some elements of truth behind it.

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

When someone is really annoying and you can’t flat out say you are really annoying? Hooray for sarcasm.

When you dislike someone and can’t tell them you dislike someone? Hooray for Sarcasm.

When you don’t like someone’s outfit and you think they look hideous? Hooray for Sarcasm.

When you really don’t want to do something but don’t want to hurt someone’s feeling? Hooray for Sarcasm.

When you don’t like your work or what you do for work? Hooray for Sarcasm.

Sarcasm can get you into trouble however if you use it wisely, it can also get you out of a lot of trouble because you can use it as an outlet.

Choose sarcasm wisely, and don’t over do it because then you have just taken it for granted and your personal sarcasm will forever be over looked forever.

Remember those days when you were younger and it was a beautiful day out and you were inside watching tv or a movie? And your mom would come into the room and say “get outside! It’s a beautiful day, I don’t want you wasting away the day inside” and you would be forced to go play outside? Like what were we supposed to do? Bike up and down the street? Have a lemonade stand? Those were all fun activities but only fun if you had friends to play with. Why would parents shoe you outside? Who cares if I”m indoors watching TV. Isn’t sun supposed to be bad for you anyway?

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

Well times have certainly changed now anyways. It’s not about tv or movies so much, it’s about being connected. The internet. What in gods name do we do if the internet is down? We would be forced to go outside not by our parents anymore but by the internet! Remove yourself from the dark cave of your room and the screen glare into the glare of the sun.

It’s actually amazing at the behavior once you know internet is down or slow. We are used to it being so available and living with it that once it’s not there we think it’s the end of the world and go crazy. You guys do realize that there was a time when internet didn’t exist right? Well what did we do then?

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

It’s only because you don’t really know how easy you have it till it’s actually gone. This saying can explain many things in life. In this instance, it’s homework. Once you gradate middle school and you are all of a sudden in high school, high school work is so tough and you miss grade 5. Then you are in University and you have all these essays to write. Now what do you miss? Well, really you still miss grade 5 but you would give anything just to go back to work load in high school.

I realized that the older you get the more you are capable of and sure when we are old enough to be in high school we are well advanced from grade 5. It’s just so easy to go back to younger year memories, and miss and wish all you still had to do was color.

This can also be a lesson though to never dwell on the past. Enjoy the moment you are at right now because you will never be able to go back to it. Don’t sit around and mope about the past and don’t wait for the future to arrive either. The future will come one day whether you like it or not so you may as well take advantage of the days right now because the future isn’t going anywhere.

I think this one is adorable yet it frustrates the hell outta me because this doesn’t really happen! Banana’s are not slippery, and if you ever step on one you don’t go flying! This is a little ironic because it is the banana itself slipping on another banana.

Banana’s are my worst fear. I hate all fruit and don’t eat it (no, not even a ripe raspberry, or not even a juicy peach) I don’t eat fruit – it’s that simple. Bananas though out of all the fruit are my worst nightmare. I can smell them from a mile away. It’s got that gross stench as well as they are just so mushy. Everyone who eats bananas feel like they have to squeeze and mush it in between their teeth which looks nasty.

So I guess this tee isn’t a cute one to me, in fact, I just get grossed out by the thought people actually think they can slip on a banana peel because of it’s mushiness.

How come when it comes to summer, there is no such thing as happy medium here in Toronto. All winter, we are freezing our asses off trying to survive those cold and blistery days, and the only thing that keeps us going is envisioning that summer heat pounding down on you sip back cold beer outside on a patio. Once summer arrives we have forgotten all about winter and the pain we suffered. IF summer arrives that is. This is how I am feeling in Toronto at the moment because summer actually hasn’t even really started. There hasn’t been enough summer days for my winter blues to be pushed back into my long memory.

I’m not saying that there hasn’t been one bit of sunshine, what I am saying is that our sunshine is not consistent. One day we can wake up and it is gorgeous however don’t let that fool you. The next day when you wake up it is pouring rain and sometimes even hailing. The weather man is never right, and no one knows what’s going to happen within each hour. I feel exactly like this girl does…

T-shirt courtesy of Threadless

Every morning, I get out bed and go to my window and pull back the curtains very slowly to have a peek at what mr. weather is going to offer us today. If sunshine beams through the window, I get ready for work with a smile. If it’s dark and dreary which has been about 5 out of 7 days a week, it’s a ‘hear we go again, type of attitude’.

What makes this even more frusterating is getting dressed! It’s sunny out so you wear summer clothes. The entire day you spend insdie while it’s shinning outside, and then 10 minutes before I have to leave and walk home, it starts to pour. What is with that. Then the opposite happens where you dress prepared for the worst, and it turns out to be gorgeous and you are so uncomfortable in all the clothes you have covering you.

Tell me please mother nautre, when will summer be here to stay?
